Colt Builders was established in 2004 based on the belief that the people and communities Colt worked in were just as important as the structures Colt built. The root of the Colt idea has grown and flourished under its evolving leadership and growing group of talented professionals that now span the country. Colt’s national territory comes complete with crews covering each territory, and permanent local management and regional crews in New England, Mid-Atlantic to Southeast, Texas and the Southwest. In addition, traveling crews work at locations across the country.

Our specialties include assisted living buildings, townhomes, multi-family homes, hotels and student housing. We take a hands-on approach, with local management, treating each of our clients as family and each project as if it were our own. We value people, and therefore we value safety. Our safety standards exceed OSHA requirements — something we are more than proud of. The corporate office remains in Salt Lake City, where Colt’s financial and administrative headquarters is located.
