We are looking for a Team Leader in our Engineering department, at our Barcelona HQ.
The Mission:
This role’s primary focus will be to guide an engineering team as well as actively participate in the development and enhancement of the company's solutions in the context of unique and innovative use cases, to provide added value to the company's products.
Responsibilities:
- Use technical skills to improve Worldsensing products by collaborating on challenging innovation projects.
- Work directly with engineers, project managers, and other external partners to develop complex end-to-end solutions.
- Work closely with other engineers to modify and enhance solutions using the Worldsensing products and APIs.
- Manage and maintain relationships with engineers, product owners, and other technical team members as clients and partners.
- Rigorous commitment to documentation, quality engineering, testing, and support.
- Manage and organize an engineering scrum team to get the most out of their skills and create synergy to fulfill the team's goals.
- Be able to manage people inside of the scrum team so that they can achieve their personal goals and grow within the company.
- Make sure that the processes are executed correctly and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering, and software development.
- 3+ experience with React and/or Python.
- Experience with other programming languages, such as Javascript or Java is welcome.
- Good experience with Linux environments.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience developing and deploying cloud applications (microservices, queues, APIs, etc).
- Experience with CI/CD tools is a plus.
- Experience working with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Solution design and architecture.
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Experience managing scrum teams.
- Experience with project planning.
- BS degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- A good level of spoken and written English is required.
