The EHS Analyst is responsible for support the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental, health, and safety programs. This role involves collecting data, conducting inspections, incident improvement efforts to help maintain regulatory compliance and internal standards in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, assisting in audits, and providing support for various EHS initiatives.QualificationsKey Responsibilities
Support stormwater compliance.
Assist with hazardous / universal waste accumulation area checks and documentation.
Help maintain chemical inventory and SDS access, support chemical storage / compatibility check and housekeeping.
Maintain EHS records and their log updated
Track and update EHS metrics.
Participate in EHS meetings and assist with communication of safety alerts, toolbox talks and program updates.
Identify recurring issues and recommend practical improvements to reduce risk and improve compliance.
Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions and verify effectiveness.
Stay up to date with industry safety standards and regulations, including those set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Regularly update and maintain safety and environmental systems documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
Assist in preparing for and participating in internal and external EHS audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Provide training sessions, workshops, and toolbox talks to employees on safety procedures, policies, and best practices.
Coordinate emergency action plans, including organizing and executing environmental drills.
Monitor and maintain mitigation environmental kit, to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Support and execute specific safety and environmental -related tasks and activities as directed by the EHS Manager, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
OSHA 10 / OSHA 30 Certification (required).
Experience with ISO Management systems 45001, 14001 and RBA (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 2-3 years of knowledge and experience with U.S. legal safety requirements (required).
Hands-on experience with hazardous materials management (preferred).
Skills
Strong communication (written and verbal) and professionalism on the production floor.
Practical problem-solving and ability to escalate issues appropriately.
Integrity and consistency in reinforcing site rules and expectations.
