The Controller leads all accounting and financial reporting activities for the South Gate manufacturing operation, ensuring the integrity of financial records and internal controls. This role serves as the primary financial business partner for local leadership, overseeing month-end closes and providing strategic financial analysis.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience and at least 3 years in leadership. Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and strong knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing cost accounting are highly preferred.

Wieland is hiring a Controller. The Controller is responsible for leading all accounting and financial reporting activities for the South Gate manufacturing operation. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial records, oversees the monthly close process, maintains strong internal controls, and provides financial analysis that supports operational and strategic decision-making. The Controller serves as the primary financial business partner for the local leadership team while ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
This role is located in South Gate, CA and will be fully on-site. While this role is local, occasional travel to other locations may be required (10% travel).
Base Salary Range: $114,600 – $143,355
May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.
