The Youth Assistant supports middle school, high school, and pre-teen ministries by assisting with weekly gatherings and building relationships with students. Responsibilities include managing youth services, coordinating volunteers, and performing administrative tasks.
Candidates must have experience working with youth and strong communication skills, with availability for a non-traditional schedule. Preferred qualifications include experience in youth ministry, discipleship, and basic media or tech skills.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Youth Assistant plays a pivotal role on the Westside Youth team, supporting our rapidly growing middle school, high school, and pre-teen (4th–5th grade) ministries. This position is responsible forassisting with weekly youth gatherings. In close partnership with the Youth & Family Pastor and Youth Program Coordinator, this role builds meaningful relationships with students and volunteers to foster a dynamic, Christ-centered community.

Youth Services (Sunday AM & PM + Monday PM): 80% / 16 hours per week
Team Participation & Administrative Duties: 20% / 4 hours - 1 morning per week

Manager: Youth & Family Pastor
Reports to: Youth & Family Pastor, Senior Pastor
Supervisory responsibilities: Volunteer & Student Leaders
