About the role
The Floating Support Worker role is based within our Diversionary Scheme, Powys. The multi-agency service seeks to address offending behaviour across four hubs. The team consists of the Service Manager & Floating Support Workers, working closely with the Police and Housing.
Working in a team as part of a culture-changing initiative, you will support various clients. All with the aim to support them into independent living and to reduce the likelihood of re-offending, by helping tackle the root causation of offending, and associated health & community related issues. You will provide housing related supported to equip our customers with the knowledge, skills and tools that they need to be able to live independent lives.
Skills and Experience Needed
Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.

Reliable as people are dependent on you
Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations

It is essential that the successful candidate has a drivers licence & access to a car.
Important – We will require a Non Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) check for this role, which we will pay for.
