Accounting & Administrative Assistant

Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 annually (based on experience)

Wagonmaster is a sales-driven organization where strong administrative and finance support keeps everything moving. This role supports accounting, operations, sales, and leadership by maintaining accurate financial records, producing reports, and handling day-to-day administrative coordination.
This is a hands-on role where accuracy, organization, and reliability matter every day.
What You’ll Do
- Full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Maintain accounting records, journals, and financial reports
- Reconcile bank transactions and support month-end processes
- Prepare documentation for accountants and leadership review
- Assist with state and federal tax-related data preparation
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
- Support sales and operations with reporting and coordination
- Provide internal and external customer service support
- Coordinate and execute various administrative business requests
What You Bring
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP and PivotTables an asset)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- High level of accuracy with numbers and detail
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in accounting or office administration
- Exposure to small business finance or reporting systems
- Interest in the automotive or equipment industry is an asset
