Develop, test, and validate electrical simulation models for wind turbines and plant controllers to ensure high performance and quality. Collaborate with global teams and Transmission System Operators to meet international certification standards.
Requires a BSc or MSc in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering with proficiency in power systems analysis and simulation tools. Candidates must have programming skills in C, C++, or Python and fluency in English.

Within Vestas R&D, you'll find our department, Electrical Models, as part of the Power Systems Integration Module in Product Applications & Controls R&D.In Power Systems Integration, we are deeply engaged with the market while promoting innovation through collaborations, all with a primary focus on product development. Our core responsibilities include designing the electrical infrastructure for Vestas' renewable power plants, developing the Vestas Power Plant Controller, and creating Electrical Simulation Models for wind turbines and power plant controllers. This work draws on our department's technical knowledge of Power Systems, Control, and Software Engineering.Within Power Systems Integration, Electrical Models specializes in crafting Electrical Simulation Models for Vestas' Wind Turbines and Power Plant Controllers. We highly prioritize initiative, leadership, and motivation in our team members.
