The welder will join, surface, fabricate, and repair metal parts using manual and semi-automatic equipment according to blueprints and work orders. Responsibilities include performing flat fillet welds, fitting simple assemblies, and adhering to all safety protocols.
Candidates need at least one year of related work experience and a basic understanding of carbon arching and oxy fuel burning. The ability to follow instructions, read blueprints, and perform accurate measurements within specified tolerances is required.
3rd shift; Monday - Thursday 8PM - 6:30AM (Must be able to train on 1st shift)
Valtir is hiring a production welder for 3rd shift to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by applying appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints schematics and sketches using manual and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.
