The Shipper/Packer is responsible for fabricating crates, bundling orders, and loading shipments onto flatbeds according to customer specifications. They must also maintain the shipping area, ensure shipment quality, and assist in training less experienced personnel.
Candidates must be able to lift at least 75 lbs, possess a forklift license, and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Proficiency with basic math, tape measures, and hand tools is required, along with the ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Shipper/Packer position in the Shipping department. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will fabricate crates and bundle orders for Valmont products according to customer specifications. Additionally, but not limited to, you will…
· Measure and cut boards according to specifications for the purpose of crating the product.
· Load shipments onto flatbeds.
· Bundle poles per order.
· Make sure all shipments are checked closely for any damage.
· Keep shipping area free from any trash, boards, etc.
Follow all standard and/or prescribed safety regulations
