Supports the Burner Operator in operating CNC and manual burning equipment to cut steel plates. Responsibilities include preparing materials, handling finished parts, and maintaining a clean work area.
High school diploma or GED is preferred, along with a willingness to learn CNC operations. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment.
The Burner Helper supports the Burner Operator in the safe and efficient operation of CNC and manual burning equipment used to cut steel plate to customer specifications. This position is responsible for preparing materials, assisting with equipment setup, handling finished parts, maintaining housekeeping, and ensuring production requirements are met while following all safety and quality standards.
This position serves as a developmental role with opportunities to learn burner operations and advance within the Plate Burn Department.
