Position Summary
Oversee the daily operations of a post-acute care practice in Central Texas. Practice providers work in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership to ensure seamless communication between providers and facilities.
Monitor operational KPIs, staffing coverage, scheduling accuracy, documentation compliance, and service delivery metrics.
Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and performance standards to improve efficiency and patient care coordination.
Support and mentor administrative and operational staff.
Provider Onboarding & Support
Coordinate onboarding for new providers, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and ancillary staff.
Through partnership with Recruitment and Credentialing, facilitate provider orientation, EMR access, training schedules, workflow education, and facility introductions.
Serve as a primary operational point of contact for new providers during onboarding and transition periods.
Facility Onboarding & Relationship Management
Conduct facility readiness assessments and ensure operational alignment prior to go-live dates.
Assist leadership with staffing plans, workflow delegation, and operational training initiatives.
Promote a collaborative, patient-centered, and accountability-driven culture.
Coordinate implementation activities including workflow setup, communication protocols, billing integration, documentation processes, and provider scheduling.
Support ongoing facility engagement, issue resolution, and service optimization initiatives.
Qualifications:
3+ years of management experience in a healthcare organization required
Excellent communication, customer service and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
