The Woodlands Administrator provides administrative and technical support to the Silviculture, Planning, and Logging departments. Responsibilities include digital mapping, maintaining silviculture records, contract administration, and office management tasks.
Candidates should have two or more years of relevant administrative, forestry, or natural resource sector experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with forestry systems or GIS software is preferred.

Are you ready to take your forestry career to the next level? Similkameen Forest Products Ltd. is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Woodlands Administrator to join our vibrant team in Princeton, BC. Based in the Princeton office and reporting to the Silviculture Manager, this role provides administrative and technical support to the Silviculture, Planning, and Logging departments. This role offers the chance to be part of a professional and empowered team managing forestry operations across the stunning Nicola, Similkameen, and Okanagan regions of Southern British Columbia.
You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals engaged in a broad range of forest management activities, providing opportunities to expand your knowledge, experience, and professional skill set. You will also collaborate with Indigenous communities and a variety of stakeholders to support sustainable and responsible forest management. Together, the Woodlands team supplies approximately 1.0 million m³ of wood annually to the Similkameen Forest Products sawmill and other wood-using facilities throughout the region.
SALARY RANGE: We offer a competitive compensation package based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $78,000 per year.
