Provide courteous customer service and sales support while managing inventory records and special orders. Perform hands-on production tasks, specifically assembling hoses to meet customer and production demands.
A high school diploma is required, with a preference for 3 years of customer service experience and knowledge of fluid power products. Candidates must be able to lift 40 pounds, possess a valid driver's license, and have strong basic math skills.

Family-owned and -operated since 1964, TFE provides high-quality Fluid Power and Power Transmission products to northeast and central Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. TFE is a growing company with emphasis on quality products and service for the OEM customer and the end user.
This role is a unique blend of customer service, hands on problem solving and specialized production assembly.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
2nd Shift 2pm-10pm
However all training will be done on 1st shift, 7am-4pm.
Assist customers in a courteous and cordial manner and solicit additional sales, charge out merchandise and make necessary entries to the inventory control system, distribute special order parts, receive warranty parts, maintain shelf stock and keep counter clear and neat. Assemble hoses for the customers. Contact customers regarding orders that have not been picked up within twenty-four hours of ordering.
