Perform geotechnical field inspections, materials testing, and data collection for transportation and land development projects. Conduct compaction testing on earth fill and asphalt, and assist with laboratory testing for soils and aggregates.
Requires 1-3 years of experience in materials testing or construction inspection and a valid driver's licence with a reliable vehicle. Post-secondary education in Construction or Civil Engineering Technology is an asset.

The Opportunity – Field Technician
We are seeking a Field Technician to join our Geotechnical Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering geotechnical field inspection, materials testing, and data collection services on a variety of projects including transportation, land development, and residential, commercial, and industrial construction. This position is based out of Terrapex’s Toronto office and offers a salary range of $21.50 to $24.60, commensurate with experience.
