The driver will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, and timely delivery of freight within the Christchurch area. They must ensure all freight is handled and scanned correctly while adhering to safety procedures and legal driving standards.
Candidates must hold a clean full NZ Class 2 license, a DG license, and OSH Forklift certifications. Previous experience driving trucks and trailers on New Zealand roads is required.
Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating in New Zealand scaling from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Class 2 Driver in our Christchurch branch to assist with our Metro deliveries using tail lifts and pallet jacks.
Shift: Monday – Friday, Aprox 6am start, 45 hours per week.
This role will be responsible to assist with the timely safe handling of freight for the company to achieve their target delivery goals.
