The role involves drawing cable and conduit routes into GIS based on engineering and construction drawings. Additionally, the specialist will use AutoCAD to create files based on GIS routes and manage workflow via internal and external trackers.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in the telecom, engineering, or construction industry. A bachelor's degree in Geography, Business Administration, or Engineering and familiarity with AutoCAD are preferred.

Summary:
We currently have a great opportunity to join Talman Consultants. as a GIS Support Associate (Temp). In this role you will collaborate with our Sr. GIS Specialist, Senior Project Managers, and Project Managers assigned to working with a specific client. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, able to work alone for majority of their workday, be detail oriented and able to assess/correct errors in their own work before submitting.

This role typically requires a minimum of 1 year telecom, engineering, and/or construction industry experience in an office environment. A demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks at one time.

The expected hourly pay range for this position is between $22 and $35. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
