Provide housing-focused services to individuals in Permanent Supportive Housing programs through assessments, placement, and retention activities. Collaborate with landlords and community partners to remove housing barriers and ensure compliance with HUD requirements.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field and at least one year of experience serving vulnerable populations. Must have a valid VA driver's license and knowledge of housing assistance programs and regulations.

The Role: Housing Navigator - Chesapeake, VA
What You'll Do: You'll work with the team to provide housing-focused services to individuals enrolled in Permanent Supportive Housing programs. Through housing assessments, housing stabilization planning, landlord engagement, housing placement, inspections, financial assistance coordination, and housing retention activities, you'll assist participants with obtaining and maintaining safe, stable, and affordable housing. You'll work with participants, Supportive Services Specialists, landlords, property managers, and community partners to address housing barriers, promote successful tenancy, and ensure compliance with program and HUD requirements.
