Responsibilities

The technician is responsible for assembling electrical and electronic parts, including Din Rail and Push Button assemblies, based on drawings and Bills of Material. Additional duties include modifying sheet metal products, packaging orders, and performing general maintenance and inventory control.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a mechanical background with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Strong attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mechanical background and aptitude preferred.
  • Able to read and understand drawings and Bills of Material.
  • Meticulous to detail.
  • General Math aptitude required.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Basic computer skills, or ability to learn required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have strong career-driven aspirations.
  • Responsible, organized, detail-oriented and conscientious team player.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Focus on Din Rail Assembly, Push Button Assembly, Rail Cutting and other basic assemblies.
  • Assemble electrical/electronic parts from drawings/Bills of Material.
  • Modify sheet metal products using hand tools and other light duty equipment.
  • Pull, assemble, package and box orders.
  • Maintain established delivery schedules.
  • Maintain established quality standards.
  • General Maintenance work as required.
  • Assist with engraving and inventory control as needed.
  • Assist with Enclosure Modifications and other jobs as needed.

HOURS of Work:

Typically 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday. Be aware that the hours of hours may vary as the needs of the business change. Overtime is mandatory when required.

PAY RANGE: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
