Perform basic assembly using pneumatic tools and manage the movement of materials on conveyor lines. Inspect products for defects and prepare wood pallets for shipping semi-finished goods to the assembly department.
Candidates must be able to read schedules in English and lift up to 35 pounds. Proficiency in using hand, air, and electric powered tools is required along with the ability to perform repetitive physical movements.

What You’ll Do
As a Material Handler, you’ll be part of our team located in Holliston, MA.
You’ll get to:
Performs basic assembly using pneumatic screw gun.
Gathers screws and other parts, places housing on hoist and assembles.
Places, lifts, or hoists different sized material on to the hooks on the conveyor line always keeping safety in mind.
Determines when a color change is necessary and hangs tags to indicate this to the painter.
Inspects material for defects.
Uses spray paint can to touch up minor defects.
Rejects major defects.
Must be careful not to damage the painted material.
Performs basic assembly (bearings, clips, etc.).
Installs casters.
Prepares wood pallets (with nail gun) to be used to place the material (housings) on. Places the housings on the pallets.
Sends semi-finished products (material) to the assembly department (heavy parts or light parts areas).
When problems arise, notifies the group leader. Changes hooks on conveyor line to prepare for different material.
