The intern will handle daily compliance tasks including data entry, bank deposits, and processing client mail. They will also assist in preparing campaign finance reports and managing compliance correspondence.
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. A commitment to progressive causes and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.
At Spruce Street Compliance, we provide compliance services and operational support to Democratic and progressive campaigns, PACs, and advocacy organizations across the country. Our work includes supporting some of the country’s most high-profile campaigns and organizations, like Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Dan Osborn for Senate, Turn PA Blue, and the Asian Pacific Islander Political Alliance.
The Campaign Finance Intern works in-person in our offices alongside our current Compliance Associates and Assistants to complete the daily tasks associated with oversight and compliance for our clients. This position reports to the firm's Compliance Assistants and Associates.
Pick up client mail and donations
Assist with client data entry and bank deposits
Help prepare and edit campaign finance reports
Compose and mail out compliance correspondence
Complete additional tasks assigned by Associates, Managers, and President

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary range: $20hr with a maximum of 20 hours a week
