The Aircraft Painter is responsible for preparing and painting aircraft, support equipment, and allied component surfaces using various tools and materials. Duties include removing old paint, smoothing surfaces, masking areas, and applying insignia or numerals using stencils.
Candidates must have a high school degree, U.S. citizenship, and at least five years of experience in aircraft painting. Specialized SCA occupational codes and completion of specific aircraft paint/finish courses are required.
