Perform duties related to the leaching process and leach field construction, including pipe fusions and the placement of spray heads and drip systems. Operate mobile equipment such as loaders, forklifts, and boom trucks while maintaining area housekeeping and plant maintenance.
Requires at least six months of experience in the trade and the ability to pass written assessments and medical exams. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, proficiency with various pipe fusion machines, and experience operating heavy machinery like backhoes and excavators.

Tyrone is an open-pit copper mining complex located in Grant County, New Mexico – just 10 miles south of the historic mining community of Silver City. The copper processing facilities currently consist of a solvent extraction/electrowinning operation with an annual maximum capacity of approximately 100 million pounds of copper.

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $23.00 - $31.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
