Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Perform mold press operations to Standard Work Instructions to support production floor.
Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions.
Responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions.
Visually inspect products and report surface and dimension defects to supervisor and/or Lead and Technical staff to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
Monitor machine and test equipment operation to detect problems. Ensure efficient operation of all machinery equipment, with lot control, at all work centers.
Maintain efficiency, housekeeping, safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Load, unload, or organize materials and product.
Measure, weigh, or count materials and product.
Regular Attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Available Shifts:
Day Shift | Friday-Sunday 6am-6pm
Night Shift | Friday-Sunday 6pm-6am
Essential Qualifications:
The ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
Must work well individually and in a team environment.
Ability to follow dress code in accordance to SMC Policy and work in a Clean Room Environment.
Respond positively and professionally to constructive criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
Flexible and adaptable to change and willingness to work in multiple departments as needed based on business need and necessity.
Desirable Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of experience in production environment, preferably in a medical or Clean Room environment preferred.
ADA Requirements:
Bend, climb, stand, walk, crouch, reach, push/pull, grasp, or otherwise move frequently for extended periods.
Ability to work for extended periods while completing repetitive motions to include movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. rarely and/or up to 20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds continuously.
Rarely grasps items and performs keyboarding for operation of a computer.
