Process and sterilize surgical instruments while maintaining a sterile field during operative procedures. Assist surgeons by handling necessary equipment and anticipating their needs to ensure quality patient care.
Requires a high school diploma and one year of experience as an ophthalmic assistant. Mandatory certifications include current CPR/AED, with ACLS preferred.
