The Ophthalmic Technician Assistant supports physicians by managing patient intake, performing basic eye tests, and ensuring a seamless patient flow. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical equipment, managing inventory, and providing patient education on medications and care.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a medical office or customer service environment. COA or OSC certifications are preferred, and the ability to travel between multiple New York locations is required.

The Ophthalmic Technician Assistant plays a vital role as an assistant to our physicians; maintains a smooth and seamless flow of patients to examination rooms; and effectively communicates with patients to ensure accurate expectations are set for their visit.
