The Security Guard acts as the primary point of contact for site access, managing vehicle traffic and visitor sign-ins. They are also responsible for conducting security patrols, monitoring CCTV and fire systems, and assisting the Emergency Response Team.
Candidates must have a Grade 12 education and 3-5 years of security experience, preferably in a marine environment. Essential requirements include a valid driver's license, security worker's license, Marine Transportation Security Clearance, and Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification.
The Security Guard is the first point of contact for vehicle traffic for employees, visitors, customers and suppliers attending the Vancouver Drydock. The primary focus is greeting and directing visitors and ensuring appropriate security access has been provided.
The estimated salary for this position is $64,800 - $79,200. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
