Schuberg Philis is een engineering company met een people-centric aanpak en een sterke focus op klanttevredenheid, toegewijd aan het leveren van mission-critical IT-oplossingen. Data wordt voor steeds meer van de organisaties waarmee we werken een essentieel onderdeel van hun waardepropositie. Daarom zoeken we een Azure Data Engineer die data in Azure echt begrijpt: niet per se een platform engineer in de klassieke zin, maar iemand die weet hoe je data betrouwbaar laat stromen, landen en transformeren in de cloud.
In deze rol werk je nauw samen met een klant die zelf al een datateam heeft en een heldere ambitie: zij willen dataproducten bouwen, en daarvoor hebben ze een stevig platform als fundament nodig. Dat platform ga jij bouwen. Je start vanuit hun huidige opzet: een Azure Synapse-omgeving op een custom platform, met Databricks. Een deel van het landschap verhuist, een deel wordt vervangen. Je maakt een assessment van de huidige situatie, brengt in kaart wat er beter en anders kan, en ontwerpt de Azure data-omgeving die hen verder brengt.
Bij Schuberg Philis draait alles om groei en innovatie, en geven we onze engineers het volledige mandaat om de beslissingen te nemen die hun werk vraagt. Je werkt met echte autonomie in je dagelijkse werk, in een peer team zonder overbodige managementlagen, en schakelt direct met het datateam van de klant om data uit verschillende bronnen aan elkaar te knopen en een integratieplatform neer te zetten waar ze op kunnen bouwen.
Dit is een hands-on engineering-rol in een modern, sterk geautomatiseerd landschap. Databricks vormt het hart van het dataplatform. Jij bouwt de CI/CD die data daadwerkelijk in Azure krijgt, pipelines aftrapt en transformeert, en rolt het geheel als code uit. Het onderliggende fundament (een standaard Azure landing zone, Virtual WAN, virtual hubs, Kubernetes, VM's, allemaal ingericht met Terraform) draagt daarbovenop een volledig geautomatiseerd, op Databricks gebaseerd Azure dataplatform.
