The Business Analyst will define and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for a Construction Portfolio and Resource Management System. Key tasks include process mapping, preparing RFP documents, and coordinating user acceptance testing and business readiness.
Candidates must have over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 3 implementations of Project and Portfolio management applications. Experience with utility construction management and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices is preferred.
Project Background Statement
The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, vendor implementation team as applicable, and our client's internal stakeholders to ensure business, functional, technical, and performance requirements are clearly defined, validated, and traceable through delivery of the Construction Portfolio, Project, and Resource Management System. This resource will be accountable for tasks such as requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, business process and workflow mapping, preparing a fully defined Request for Proposal for the program of technologies and documenting the functional specifications for each as applicable. If the position continues to implementation, it will also include assistance with coordinating business readiness with UAT, procedure development, and training.
