The chemist will analyze materials and evaluate processing techniques for industrial automation products using advanced analytical instruments. Responsibilities include conducting root-cause failure analysis, RoHS compliance testing, and collaborating with engineers to improve product quality.
A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Chemistry, with at least 2 years of related experience. Candidates should have hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and the ability to work in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

Job Description
Rockwell Automation is looking for an analytical Chemist to join our Chemistry and Materials Engineering team. Working in a laboratory environment, you will analyze materials, and evaluate processing techniques used in industrial automation products. You'll operate advanced instruments, perform failure analysis, and collaborate with materials engineers and other chemists to provide solutions that improve product quality. You should have experience acquiring or interpreting laboratory data to improve manufacturing processes.
You will report to our Senior Manager, Chemistry and Materials and Product Performance Testing.
