The GIS Technician supports the development and maintenance of geospatial data and mapping products to aid client business decisions. Key tasks include data editing, integrating GNSS/GPS data, and performing QA/QC within Utility Network environments.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field with 0-2 years of experience. Familiarity with GIS software and tools for data editing and quality control is required.
As a GIS Technician at Resource Data, you will support the development and maintenance of geospatial data and mapping products that help clients make informed business and operational decisions. Working alongside GIS professionals, analysts, and project teams, you will build foundational GIS expertise through data editing, mapping, quality assurance, and research activities. This role provides opportunities to develop technical GIS skills while contributing to the delivery of accurate, reliable, and high-quality geospatial solutions.
