The Cost Estimation Manager develops a team to deliver accurate and competitive cost estimates for waterslide systems and aquatic attractions. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze designs, manage RFQs, and track historical costs to improve pricing accuracy.
Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field and over 5 years of cost estimating experience in manufacturing or construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to interpret technical drawings are essential.
At ProSlide, The Cost Estimation Manager is responsible for developing a team that delivers accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for waterslide systems and aquatic attractions. This role works closely with sales, engineering, design, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure project pricing reflects accurate scope of work for a given opportunity. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and comes with a strong technical background to develop a greater understanding of fiberglass manufacturing, steel structures, and large-scale project delivery in order to competently deliver accurate opportunity pricing.
