Employment: Seasonal Full/Part Time
Job Description:
Grader Operators are responsible maintaining our parking lots and accesses. They also maintain
accesses to chalets, condominiums and strata roads on a contract basis
Position Requirements/Skills:
Heavy equipment operation experience (grader, and an asset would be experience with front end loaders and bobcats)
Proven self motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision
Mechanical aptitude
Driver’s license
Excellent guest service skills
Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
Must have a high level of attention to detail
Work well within a diverse team environment
Flexible availability: including evenings, early mornings, weekends and statutory holidays
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clear snow from roads, accesses, lots, and around buildings
Maintain snow removal equipment
Summon first aid if required
Communicate effectively with all departments regarding operations
Work cooperatively as a member of the snow removal team to ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times
Comply with all department and company policies, and procedures
Perform other tasks, as assigned by management
Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit and stand for the duration of the shift.
Ability to lift and carry 25kg at times.
Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties.
Requires grasping, tool use, writing, standing, sitting, driving, repetitive motions, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
Wage: $30.00-$40.00
