The Post-Closing Specialist manages the post-purchase loan process by obtaining missing documentation and ensuring investor requirements are met. They also liaise with internal departments and external title/escrow agents to clear loan deficiencies and maintain accurate file statuses.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of mortgage industry experience and proficiency in MS Windows software. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a notary license is preferred.
Pulls Daily outstanding reports from all Investor and vendor sites. Obtains and provides missing or additional documents, post purchase of loans, as required by Investors. Performs regular follow-ups of requested documents, ensuring Investor due dates are met, on all loans with deficiencies in assigned pipeline. Notarize documents in-house.
