Private Therapy Services is looking for an Orthopedic Physical Therapist who wants more than a packed schedule and a list of protocols.

 

At PTS, you will work one-on-one with patients, use your clinical judgment, and have the time to understand what is driving their symptoms. You will help people recover from orthopedic injuries, surgery, persistent pain, and movement limitations while building the strength and confidence to return to the lives they love.

 

We are a locally owned, PT-led practice that has served the Charleston community for more than 20 years. We are not a high-volume chain, and we do not believe excellent physical therapy happens when a therapist is juggling multiple patients at once.

 

We believe it happens when skilled therapists are trusted, supported, and given the time to do exceptional work.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• A South Carolina Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong orthopedic evaluation, clinical reasoning, and treatment skills
• A commitment to individualized, evidence-based patient care
• Clear communication and patient education skills
• A collaborative, dependable, and growth-oriented mindset
• An interest in continued clinical development
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred

Responsibilities

The Role

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at PTS, you will evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and post-operative needs.

 

You will combine evidence-based treatment, progressive exercise, patient education, and hands-on care to help patients reduce pain, restore movement, and return safely to work, recreation, athletics, and everyday life.

 

This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys solving complex clinical problems, building meaningful patient relationships, and taking ownership of the entire recovery process.
