If you love preparing wonderful meals for groups or gatherings, Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, NC is the place for you! We have an opening for Full-Time Banquet Cook available for immediate hire. Applicants should have flexible schedules as this position will have alternating shifts during the week. Come be a part of an award-winning Culinary staff!

Position requirements include but are not limited to:
-A minimum of 1-year experience in a banquet kitchen
-Prepare attractive platter presentations and action stations for weddings and large events
-Garnish and arrange serving displays for salads, vegetables, cheese, and fruit trays
-Read prep sheets and gather the required ingredients and supplies
-Maintain all sanitation standards and proper food handling techniques
-ServSafe certification is a plus
-Good knife skills
-Ability to handle food preparation for large groups
-Able to lift 20-30 pounds safely
-Awareness of safety in and around the kitchen
-Available to work a varied schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20 per hour. Plus GREAT company offered benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacation, sick and holidays after 30 days of employment.
