The Patient Care Tech provides direct care to patients across the lifecycle under the supervision of licensed clinical staff. They are responsible for demonstrating competency in treatments, procedures, and the use of medical equipment according to hospital policy.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. While no experience is required, one year of patient care experience is preferred, and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required upon hire.
