Lead complex airport planning, land use compatibility, and environmental projects while ensuring regulatory compliance. Coordinate with airport sponsors and regulatory agencies and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of progressive aviation planning experience. Must be a Certified Member (C.M.) of the AAAE, with strong knowledge of FAA regulations and NEPA processes.
The Senior Aviation Planner is an experienced aviation planning professional who serves as a senior technical contributor on complex airport planning, land use compatibility, and environmental planning projects. This role operates independently, leads significant technical analyses, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides guidance to junior staff while supporting client and agency coordination.
