The Look Development Artist will create photorealistic materials and shaders for characters, creatures, and environments while ensuring consistency across shots. They will collaborate with surfacing, lighting, and modeling teams to optimize assets for render performance and match onset data.
Candidates must have proven experience in look development and shading for high-end VFX or animation productions. Expert knowledge of Arnold, Houdini, and PBR workflows is required, along with proficiency in texturing tools and color management.
We are seeking a technically experienced and creative Look Development Artist to join our visual effects team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the final shaded appearance of characters, creatures, environments, and props, balancing both artistic vision and technical requirements.
You will work closely with surfacing, lighting and modeling to ensure assets achieve the highest level of realism and consistency across shots.
