The Senior Electrical Engineer will diagnose equipment failures, implement reliability improvements, and manage capital projects within a heavy manufacturing environment. They will also provide technical training, maintain engineering documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in an industrial environment with controls and a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology. Strong communication skills and knowledge of continuous improvement principles are required, while Lean/Six Sigma and aluminum industry experience are preferred.

The Novelis Davenport, IA team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer. In this position you will report to the EMRA Leader – Op Ex. As the Sr. Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for analyzing and diagnosing root causes of problems and failures recommending and providing solutions to improve uptime. Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is ideal for this role. You will be a contributor to the Plant Engineering Team as well as the overall Team contributing to manufacturing excellence.
