Implement behavior support plans and provide ABA-based instruction to reduce problematic behaviors and develop new skills. Monitor client behavior, collect data, and collaborate with BCBAs and families to achieve meaningful changes.
Requires a high school diploma with 24 months experience, or an associate degree/RBT certification with 12 months experience in developmental disabilities. Must be 21+, possess a valid driver's license with a vehicle, and be available for after-school and evening hours.
Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team!
The Behavior Technician will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.
