Educators will execute a rigorous common curriculum and implement school-wide systems to build a structured, achievement-oriented culture for students. Responsibilities include regular communication with families and participation in ongoing professional development.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Tennessee teaching license or have a clear pathway toward certification. Experience teaching in high-performing, diverse school settings is highly preferred.

The Compensation
Nashville Classical pays 5% above our local school district and offers employees a competitve raise each year. For teachers, base salaries range from $55,670 - $93,417. Teachers can select from three generous medical plans and are eligible for full state retirement benefits. This position will follow a 10-month schedule.
We also offer yearly stipends for teacher-leader roles, extracurricular clubs, coaching and additional roles. We offer all employees a Macbook computer, all necessary classroom supplies, and a $500 discretionary budget for classroom purchases.

Nashville Classical Charter Schools educate a diverse community of K-8 scholars through a joyful, rigorous curriculum and within a structured, intentional culture, building a foundation of knowledge and habits for high school, college, and life. Our flagship school, Nashville Classical East, opened in 2013 and is a 2022 Tennessee Reward School. Our newest school, Nashville Classical West, will open with Kindergarten in August 2023 and then add 6th grade in August 2024. Over the next five years, we will double our impact, growing to educate more than 1,000 scholars per year.
