About the Role: Automation Technician I should excel in either Mechanical or Electrical assembly. The Lead Automation Technician will verify qualifications. Growth into the other disciplines will be expected and documented in a training matrix.
Responsibilities:
Ability to utilize and understand engineering drawings, building, wiring, and qualifying sub-assemblies, main assemblies, and final machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical problems as they may arise.
Proactively and communicate with other departments for solutions.
Ability to set up final systems in accordance with internal quality acceptance measures.
Ability to set up final systems in accordance with quality acceptance measures set by customer.
Ensure the final product is meets specifications.
Requirements:
Two years of manufacturing experience in a related field preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical degree in automation preferred.
Experience in A.C., D.C., and three-phase wiring.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic schematics.
Conceptual knowledge of pneumatics and servo-drive motors.
Experience as a commercial electrician or machine/automation maintenance technician is preferred.
Ability to travel 25% of the time, travel can be one to three weeks per trip. (Required)
Willing to train the right candidate with minimal experience and certifications for an apprentice role.
Working daily onsite at Muller Technology CO, Inc. with expectation of no less than 40 hours worked weekly.
