We’re looking for Retail Sales Associates who are energized by creativity, human connection, and the independence of working in a lean retail environment. In this role, you’ll help bring the Moleskine vision to life by delivering exceptional service, building relationships, and supporting store leadership in daily operations.
What You’ll Do
Inspire Expression – Share the story of Moleskine and guide customers toward tools that help them express their ideas, creativity, and imagination.
Build Community – Achieve sales goals by creating genuine connections, fostering loyalty, and turning every customer into a storyteller.
Create Experiences – Deliver a warm, engaging environment that reflects Moleskine’s belief in creativity and cultural exchange.
Lead with Responsibility – Perform keyholder duties, including opening and closing the store, managing cash, and overseeing operations when managers are not present.
Work with Independence – Confidently manage the customer experience and daily tasks during solo coverage, staying aligned with store priorities and leadership direction in a lean retail environment.
Keep It Beautiful – Uphold Moleskine’s visual identity through thoughtful merchandising, organization, and store presentation.
Collaborate & Share – Work as part of a team, mentor new associates, and support a culture of learning and storytelling.
Stay Hands-On – Operate POS systems, manage stock, and ensure inventory flows seamlessly to support the customer journey.
Who You Are
Passionate about creativity, culture, and inspiring others.
A strong communicator who enjoys meaningful customer interactions.
Flexible and reliable, with consistent availability week to week to support a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays; we aim to accommodate school schedules while meeting the needs of the business.
Comfortable with technology, including POS and inventory systems.
Comfortable working independently during solo shifts while staying aligned with team and leadership expectations.
Organized, detail-oriented, and energized by teamwork.
Required Qualifications
1+ year of retail or customer-facing experience.
Ability to provide excellent customer service and drive sales.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Flexible schedule with reliability and punctuality.
Confidence in performing keyholder duties (opening/closing, cash handling, operational oversight).
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Previous experience using Cegid.
Previous keyholder, shift-lead, or supervisory experience.
Strong visual merchandising and product storytelling skills.
