Job Type: Full-Time Permanent Iconic Wineries of British Columbia Work Location(s): West Kelowna, Kelowna, and Lake Country
Winemaking in some major regions of the world can be an ‘industrial’ undertaking, but for us here at Iconic Wineries of British Columbia, winemaking is an ‘artform’. Each vintage is the result of a creative process, backed by science and the result of hundreds of years of learning, guided by the hands of highly skilled and passionate experts who need to anticipate and adapt to the specific differences of each and every vintage. We are artisans, crafting wines in one of the smallest wine regions in the world, working to define the Okanagan and put our region on the world stage.
What You’ll Do:
Operate tractors and vineyard equipment safely and efficiently across estate vineyards
Perform key vineyard tasks including mowing, cultivation, spraying, hedging, and harvest support
Assist in maintaining vine health and fruit quality through precise, hands-on fieldwork
Execute daily and seasonal vineyard operations
Clean, inspect, and support routine maintenance of tractors and implements
Ensure equipment is properly calibrated for accurate application of materials
Follow all health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of agricultural products
Perform physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the growing season
What We’re Looking For:
Demonstrated tractor operating experience
Solid mechanical understanding with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment maintenance
Valid B.C. driver’s license and a safe driving record
Valid Class 1/3 license is an asset
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg (approx. 50 lb).
Why Join Us?
At Iconic Wineries of British Columbia, we invest in people as much as we invest in vineyards. You’ll be part of a collaborative, skilled team committed to producing world-class wines and advancing the reputation of the Okanagan Valley on the global stage.
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly wage depending on knowledge, skills, and experience
Structured training and development to support your career
Exposure to premium vineyard sites and modern, sustainable farming practices
Company-matched RRSP contributions
Extended health, dental, and mental wellness benefits
Paid time off
Monthly wine allowance
