  • Partner closely with the Head of School to manage and track the implementation of the strategic plan, including timelines, benchmarks, and key deliverables
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives across departments, ensuring alignment, communication, and follow-through
  • Develop systems to monitor progress, organize materials, and provide regular updates on strategic priorities
  • Manage the Head of School’s calendar with strategic foresight, ensuring time is aligned with mission-driven and student-centered leadership

Board & Governance Support

  • Support clear communication between the Head of School and the Board in alignment with school goals
  • Cross-train and work closely with the Advancement team, especially in relation to BOD events and needs

Operational & Project Coordination

  • Project manage organizational reporting, including ASANA, DASL, ISACS, and other compliance or accreditation reporting and related initiatives
  • Support organization-wide events and community programs, and coordinate as needed
  • Support HR, Advancement, and Admissions initiatives as needed, including recruiting, onboarding, and internal communication
  • Take an active role in the full life of the school, contributing to a collaborative and engaged community

Administrative Excellence & Professional Practice

  • Maintain organized and efficient systems for files, records, and documentation
  • Willingness to pivot to help out all facets of the organization, especially regarding events for the BOD, Admissions and HR
  • Manage expenses, invoices, and administrative workflows with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Anticipate needs, solve problems proactively, and provide a sense of stability in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Understand and promote school standards and policies, supporting their thoughtful implementation and evolution
  • Set and maintain appropriate professional boundaries while collaborating effectively with all constituents
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous growth as a lifelong learner, including the effective use of current technologies

  • Experience with organizational reporting, accreditation, or compliance initiatives preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to reflect warmth and professionalism
  • High level of discretion, intuition, judgment, and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office, Asana etc.
  • Experience with Blackbaud or similar school management systems preferred

Core Competencies

  • Student-Centered Mindset: Keeps the needs and well-being of children at the heart of all work
