The Medical Assistant prepares patients for examinations, records medical information in the EMR system, and manages clinical supplies. They are also responsible for sterilizing tools and communicating biopsy results and prescription information to patients.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with basic computer skills and a positive attitude. Experience as a medical assistant and knowledge of the NexTech system are preferred.
