Following the program, the role involves managing purchasing strategies, market analysis, and ensuring product quality through sensory testing.
Requires a completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally with further qualification as a business specialist, and at least 2 years of experience in green coffee purchasing or quality assurance. Proficiency in German and English is required, with SAP skills and a willingness to travel.

Du möchtest tief in die Welt des Rohkaffees eintauchen und früh Verantwortung in einem internationalen Umfeld übernehmen? Dann starte bei Melitta Kaffee in Bremen im Young Professional Programm im Rohkaffee Management und gestalte gemeinsam mit uns die Zukunft des Kaffees.
Im Rahmen des Programms entwickelst Du Deine Kompetenzen durch individuell auf Dich zugeschnittene Trainingsmodule. Während der 24-monatigen Spezialisierungsphase vermitteln wir Dir einen ausgewogenen Mix aus Theorie und Praxis. Damit Du Dich voll auf Deine fachliche und persönliche Weiterentwicklung konzentrieren kannst, erhältst Du von Beginn an einen unbefristeten Arbeitsvertrag.
Während des Programms durchläufst Du die wesentlichen Stationen der Rohkaffee-Wertschöpfungskette und lernst die relevanten Schnittstellen im Unternehmen sowie darüber hinaus kennen.
Zu Deinem Fahrplan gehören unter anderem:
Einblicke in den Rohkaffee-Anbau, optional auch in relevanten Anbauländern wie Brasilien, Äthiopien, Vietnam oder Kolumbien
Stationen in der Kaffee-Sensorik sowie Kaffeezubereitungsmethoden, der Röstung, im Rezepturmanagement, in der Produktentwicklung sowie in der Kaffeezubereitung
Qualitätsmanagement, Controlling / Vertriebscontrolling
Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt im Bereich Rohkaffeebeschaffung insbesondere:
Kaffeeregelwerke
Rohkaffee-Logistik und Außenhandel
Nachhaltigkeit in der Wertschöpfungskette
Marktmechanismen und Rohkaffeehandel
Markt- und Datenanalysen
Rohkaffeebörsen
Zusammenarbeit und Kennenlernen von externen Partnern wie Handelshäuser, Lagerhalter, Entkoffeinierer, Börsenbroker und Exporteure
Ergänzende Einsätze in Vertrieb und Marketing, um unterschiedliche Absatzkanäle, Kundengruppen und Vermarktungsinstrumente kennenzulernen
So baust Du Dir in kurzer Zeit ein fundiertes, praxisnahes und ganzheitliches Verständnis des Rohkaffeemanagements auf und wirst gezielt auf eine verantwortungsvolle Rolle in diesem Umfeld vorbereitet.
Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss des Young Professional Programms übernimmst Du eine verantwortungsvolle Rolle im Rohkaffee Management. Dabei können unter anderem folgende Aufgaben zu Deinem Verantwortungsbereich gehören:
Einkaufsstrategie: Du wirkst bei der Entwicklung und Bewertung der Rohkaffee-Einkaufsstrategie mit
Beschaffung: Du unterstützt beim Sourcing von Rohkaffees im physische Geschäft
Börsentransaktionen: Du unterstützt bei der ordnungsgemäßen Abwicklung von Börsentransaktionen
Marktanalyse: Du analysierst kontinuierlich den Rohkaffeemarkt anhand technischer Marktanalysen und Fundamentalanalysen
Produktentwicklung: Du wirkst bei der Entwicklung von Neuprodukten in Abstimmung mit Marketing, Private Label, Export und weiteren Unternehmensbereichen mit
Qualitätssicherung: Du stellst die Tassenqualität und die Qualität der Rohwaren durch sensorische Prüfungen, Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen und Unterstützung im Kontaminantenmanagement sicher
Blendmanagement: Du unterstützt bei der Sicherstellung eines ordnungsgemäßen Blendmanagements, erstellst Vorkalkulationen für Rohkaffeeprovenienzen und Röstkaffeerezepturen und pflegst relevante Daten und Dokumente
Schnittstellenarbeit: Du arbeitest in bereichsübergreifenden Projekten mit
Du hast eine erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung und idealerweise eine Weiterbildung zum Wirtschaftsfachwirt
Du verfügst über mindestens 2 Jahre fachspezifische Erfahrung bzw. Ausbildung im Rohkaffee-Einkauf oder in der Qualitätssicherung
Du bist bereit, dich fachspezifisch berufsbegleitend weiterzubilden
Du hast gute SAP- und MS-Office-Kenntnisse und beherrschst Deutsch und Englisch sicher in Wort und Schrift; Spanisch und/oder Portugiesisch sind von Vorteil
Du begeisterst dich für Kaffee, den internationalen Rohkaffeehandel und bringst Reisebereitschaft mit
Du überzeugst durch Teamfähigkeit, Kommunikationsstärke, Durchsetzungsvermögen, Kundenorientierung, Analysefähigkeit, Lernbereitschaft und interkulturelle Kompetenz
