Nos bras robotiques ultra-compacts sont utilisés dans le monde entier par des équipementiers, des intégrateurs de systèmes et des utilisateurs finaux pour des tâches nécessitant précision et fiabilité en matière d'automatisation.


Votre rôle 

Rattaché(e) à l’équipe Qualité au sein du département de Recherche et Développement (R&D), vous assurez la fiabilité et la conformité de nos systèmes électroniques.

Votre quotidien se partage entre l'analyse technique des retours clients (RMA/Qualité) et le soutien direct aux projets d'ingénierie (prototypage, tests et modifications de design).


Vos principales responsabilités 

Volet support clientèle (RMA) : 

  • Diagnostic : Identifier les causes de pannes (troubleshooting) sur les robots retournés par les clients et proposer des actions correctives.

  • Maintenance et réparations : Effectuer les réparations électroniques de précision et assurer la maintenance préventive des robots.

  • Tests : Réaliser les bancs d'essais fonctionnels pour valider les produits avant leur retour client.

  • Documentation : Rédiger les comptes-rendus techniques d'investigation et mettre à jour les dossiers de fabrication.



Volet R&D :


  • Sustaining : Supporter la R&D pour l'application des changements d’ingénierie sur les produits existants.

  • Prototypage : Réaliser des montages de tests, du câblage de précision et de la soudure de composants.

  • Tests et mesures : Effectuer les tests fonctionnels sur les prototypes (validation des signaux, de la puissance et des communications).

  • Conception : Soutenir l'équipe pour la saisie de schémas et le routage de cartes sous Altium.


Votre profil


  • Formation : Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) en électronique ou équivalent.

  • Expérience : 5 ans d’expérience réussie idéalement en robotique


  • Expertise technique : Maîtrise avancée du soudage et des outils de mesure (oscilloscope, multimètre), lecture et dessin de schémas électriques


  • Atouts : Curiosité pour la robotique, expérience avec des microcontrôleurs et logiciel de CAO (Altium).


  • Esprit d'équipe : Vous aimez résoudre des problèmes concrets dans une ambiance collaborative et dynamique.



Conditions du poste 

👉 Poste à temps plein (40h/semaine) à pourvoir dès que possible sur notre site situé 1300, rue St-Patrick, Montréal, QC (déménagement dans nos nouveaux locaux modernes à Brossard courant 2027)

👉 Rémunération selon profil et expérience

Mecademic develops compact, precise, and innovative robotic automation solutions for the electronics and life sciences sectors. Our ultra-compact robotic arms are used worldwide by OEMs, system integrators, and end-users for tasks requiring precision and reliability in automation.

Your Role

As part of the R&D Quality team, you'll drive the reliability and compliance of our electronic systems. Your day-to-day will combine technical analysis of customer returns (RMA) with hands-on support for engineering projects (prototyping, testing, and design tweaks.

Your Main Responsibilities

Customer Support & RMA Component:

  • Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and identify root causes of failures on robots returned by customers, and propose corrective actions.

  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform precision electronic repairs (rework) and conduct preventive maintenance on the robots.

  • Testing: Run functional test benches to validate products prior to redelivery to customers.

  • Documentation: Write technical investigation reports and update manufacturing files/documentation.

R&D Component:

  • Sustaining Engineering: Support the R&D team in implementing engineering changes (ECOs) on existing products.

  • Prototyping: Assemble test setups, perform precision wiring, and handle component soldering.

  • Testing & Measurement: Conduct functional testing on prototypes (validating signals, power, and communications).

  • Design: Assist the team with schematic capture and PCB routing using Altium.

Your Profile


  • Education: College Diploma (DEC) in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent.

  • Experience: 3 years of successful experience, ideally in the robotics industry.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in soldering and using measurement tools (oscilloscope, multimeter); strong ability to read and design electrical schematics.

  • Assets / Nice-to-Haves: A passion for robotics, experience with microcontrollers, and proficiency with CAD software (Altium Designer).

  • Team Spirit: You enjoy solving concrete problems in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.

Job Conditions

👉 Full-time position (40h/week) to be filled as soon as possible at our site located at 1300, rue St-Patrick, Montreal, QC (moving to our new modern premises in Brossard in 2027).

👉 Compensation based on profile and experience. 

👉 Must be authorized to work in Canada (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit).
