About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term career in technical B2B sales. You’ll work closely with experienced Sales Engineers across Victoria, supporting customers, building relationships and identifying new opportunities. This role combines customer interaction, technical problem solving and commercial exposure, making it the perfect stepping stone into a future Sales Engineer career path.
You’ll spend time both on the road visiting customers as well as working in the office collaborating with internal teams to create and deliver solutions, proposals and exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Visit customers face-to-face across the territory and build strong relationships
- Support Sales Engineers with customer proposals, presentations and product sampling
- Identify new sales opportunities
- Work with internal teams to develop pricing, quotes and tailored solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM records and opportunity pipelines
- Coordinate customer follow-ups and site visits
- Learn Matthews’ industry-leading coding and traceability technologies
- Contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative and goal-driven sales environment
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual. You might be a recent graduate, someone early in your sales career, or currently working in retail, customer service or internal sales looking for your next step into a professional B2B environment.

Ideally, You’ll Have
- Sales, customer service or technical environments (highly regarded)
- A qualification in Engineering, IT, Business, Computer Science or similar
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
